Most of the cast from the previous movies are back for Fast X. We have Jason Statham’s Deckard Shaw to Charlize Theron’s Cipher and John Cena’s Jakob. At least in most parts. Once you park your brain outside, it is easy to laugh over the sequences and feel the energy and adrenaline rush that lights up the screen. Jason is really the star of the movie. He impressed with his over-the-top flamboyant persona. The 140-minute film is punched with several action sequences which work. At least in most parts. Louis is committed to leave audience baffled with cars flying sequences and unimaginative stunts.

The Fast and The Furious franchise enjoys a humongous fanbase in India due to its high-octane stunts, breathtaking action sequences, Jason Momoa (Dante) arrives as the newest villain in Fast X, who wants to take revenge on Dom (Vin Diesel) as the latter killed his father during a heist. While the plot of Fast X is predictable, director Louis Leterrier scores brownie points by bringing out some great nostalgic moments, which will leave you teary-eyed along with surprising cameos. While the epic climax is a treat for F&F fans, the post-credit scene takes the film a notch higher and takes your excitement to a new level for the upcoming sequel.

Vin Diesel shines in the role of Dom alias Dominic Toretto. He is a man of few words in the film but his performance stays with the viewer for a long time after he has left the cinema. There’s never a dull moment because the drama is interspersed with action galore. The chase and action scenes as well as the stunts are nothing short of daredevilry. Louis Leterrier’s direction caters beautifully to the fans of the franchise. His narration keeps the audience thoroughly entertained. Overall, the drama is so exciting that the viewers get completely engrossed and entertained.On the whole, Fast X is a surefire hit.

Dominic has a young son now, and of course he is already on the path of being fast. Things go wrong from the get-go, and there is nary a second later when someone is not speeding, However, there is only one time the film actually offers glimpses of what it meant to be along for the ride with this bunch of testosterone driven cars. Meanwhile, one car lands on its feet when dropped off a flying helicopter, and one child is passed between two speeding vehicles – twice – safely. Sometimes it’s better to be silly than over-smart.

Fast X feels like you’re watching and being served Indian-Chinese Manchurian rice. You can see all the ingredients, they don’t all necessarily cook evenly, and yet they taste delicious. Michelle Rodriguez and Nathalie Emmanuel were a treat to watch while the men — Vin Diesel, Ludacris, Sung Kang, and Tyrese Gibson couldn’t hold the screen’s attention as strongly as the women. Although not a technically sound film, Fast X is bound to draw an audience in India. Not only because of its loyal following but also due to its no-brainer, pure entertainment experience. Fast X continues to keep this formula intact on the plate but offers you a bowl of disappointment as well.
